Warranty Policy
Hauraki Fenders endeavours to produce and supply goods that exceed its customers’ expectations. Due to the nature and use of fenders and fender covers, we are happy to provide the following warranties:
- Hauraki Inflatable Fenders - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship
- Hauraki Rectangle Inflatable Fenders - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship
- Hurricane Fenders - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship
- Hauraki Fleece Fender Covers - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship
- Hauraki Neoprene Fender Covers - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship
- Barrier Fenders and Barrier Pole Fenders - 2 year warranty against defects and workmanship. 5 Year UV warranty on the PVC
- Grand Pacific Fenders and Dock Wheels – 2 year manufacturers’ warranty
- Supafend Fenders – 1 year manufacturers’ warranty
- Ultralon Fenders – 1 year manufacturers’ warranty
- All Accessories – 1 year manufacturers’ warranty
- Marinaquip Dock Wheels – 2 year manufacturers’ warranty
Customers should take care when opening packages as Hauraki Fenders accepts no responsibility and does not warrant its products for knife cuts or similar damage.
Please note the pressure inside inflatable products will vary with temperature.
Due to the nature of inflatable products, a pressure drop of up to10% per day is not cause for a warranty claim.
Deflated products should be stored so as to not induce acute creases in the PVC materials, as this may lead to premature failure of the PVC in that area and is not covered under warranty.
Any damage sustained to the product through commercial use, improper use, over loading, or normal wear and tear will not be covered under warranty.
It is the customer’s responsibility to return faulty product to Hauraki Fenders for any warranty claim. Any freight charges for warranty claims or supply of replacement product are the responsibility of the customer.
Hauraki Fenders accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to vessels, property or injuries sustained relating to the use of its products or services.
FOR MARINA BERTH SET UPS
It is the customers responsibility to ensure they are happy with all installed items and how their vessel is situated in the berth as soon as possible after installation including marina fenders, dock wheels, dock lines and any other marina berth products. This includes:
- that all fenders, dock wheels etc and their positions are appropriate for the vessel and berth
- the dock line size, lengths, attachment locations and in situ positions are appropriate for the vessel and berth
- If the customer is not fully satisfied with any aspect of a marina berth set up product or service supplied by Hauraki Fenders, they shall contact Hauraki Fenders as soon as possible, but within 7 days of the installation and raise their concern/s in writing via email
- The customer shall regularly inspect all dock lines, fenders and other installed products to ensure there is no chaffing or damage occurring that may reduce the products ability to perform its purpose
- Hauraki Fenders accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to vessels, property or injuries sustained relating to the use of its products or services for marina berth set ups.
