As a guide, we recommend every boat should always carry at least 3 fenders onboard (larger boats should carry 4-5). The size of fender mostly depends on the length and design of your boat, but ultimately it comes down to personal preference and how the fenders are going to be used. When selecting fenders, the length of your boat, and the following points should be taken into consideration:

Many customers wish to have their marina berths fully lined with fenders (no gaps) for the protection and the look. To achieve this result, we suggest using Barrier Fenders and taking advantage of the custom sized fender option. We suggest you accurately measure your marina berth and calculate how many 2m fenders you need, and for any leftover space, either use a 1m Barrier Fender or order a Custom Barrier Fender to fit. If you have any questions or are unsure how to do this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The following suggestions should act as a guide to assist you with deciding how many marina fenders you may need around your berth if you reverse into your berth. The numbers below include 1 or 2 fenders along the pier (across your transom).
You may wish to add an additional fender for protection on the angled corner in your marina berth; but please note the length of this varies from marina to marina and may require a Custom Barrier Fender to achieve a perfect fit.

As a guide, we recommend the following dock line size for your boat. While it ultimately comes down to personal preference, experience tells us most people will choose a larger sized rope for its look, feel and added security. Along with length, the displacement of your boat should also be taken into consideration; heavier boats should use bigger ropes.

Available with 1 or 2 steps - Dan Fender Steps have many practical applications. Being portable, they can be used anywhere. Fender steps can assist with boarding vessels that have higher topsides, or from low jetties and wharf's. They can also assist children to safely get on and off and can make boarding from a dinghy easier for those boats without a walk-through transom or boarding platform.
Securely tie the fender step to separate strongpoints so it is stable - do not attach both ropes to the same strongpoint.
Inflated using a standard compressed air gun. Do not use a needle valve.
Colour = White with black tips
