Inside New Zealand
Shipping cost can vary between products due to the size and weight of each product. If you wish to know the cost to ship, please add the required products to the cart and proceed through the first steps of checkout. Once the system understands which products you are wanting purchase and where your shipping address is located, the shipping cost will display for you.
Certain products such as the Barrier Pole Fenders, are very large in size and can only be picked up, or contact us directly to arrange shipping pole fenders direct to your marina.
All goods are shipped from either from Auckland or Christchurch (product dependant).
Delivery address must be a physical premises (e.g. residential, commercial, industrial) as we cannot deliver goods to PO Boxes.
Smaller goods are shipped within New Zealand via tracked couriers. Expected delivery is 1-4 working days depending on your location.
Larger goods (e.g. marina fenders) are shipped via freight companies. Expected delivery is 2-5 working days depending on your location.
Outside of New Zealand
All goods are shipped from New Zealand directly to you using DHL Express or a similar airfreight service. Tax, duty and tariffs are not charged on products sold outside of New Zealand. If any are applicable upon importation into your destination country, the shipping company will contact you directly for payment of these on arrival of the products into your country.
Expected delivery is 3-7 working days depending on your location.
For the quickest delivery, your shipping address should be a physical premises. In some cases, a PO Box is also acceptable, but delivery will take longer. If there is an issue with delivering to your PO Box address, we’ll get in touch with you before we ship your goods.

While we take as much care as possible with packaging and sending your goods, unfortunately we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage sustained to goods during shipping, but we’ll certainly help out where we can.

Barrier Speciality Marina Fenders are designed to solve the more unusual fendering needs in a marina berth.
Below Waler Fender (100mm waler)
Designed for boats whose boarding platform is lower than the wooden waler in their marina berth.
The fender is designed to be installed underneath the walers found in most marinas throughout New Zealand, with a total thickness of 90-100mm (usually made up from two planks each being 45mm thick, or composite fibreglass).
Fitted with special tabs to hold it up underneath the waler.
Fender dimensions (L x H x T) = 2000 x 200 x 100mm with a 50mm attachment tab.
Below Waler Fender (150mm waler)
Designed for boats whose boarding platform is lower than the wooden waler in their marina berth.
The fender is designed to be installed underneath the thicker walers found in some marinas throughout New Zealand (usually on larger walkways / piers), with a total thickness of 150mm (usually made up from two planks each being 75mm thick)
Fitted with special tabs to hold it up underneath the waler
Fender dimensions (L x H x T) = 2000 x 200 x 150mm with a 50mm attachment tab.
400mm Deep Fender
Designed to provide maximum protection for boats whose boarding platform is lower than the wooden waler in their marina berth.
This fender is designed to be installed in front of / over the top of a below waler fender. This provides maximum protection for a boarding platform from contacting the bottom of a waler.
This fender works best when there is no rub strip fitted in the marina berth.
Fitted with an anti-flip tab to stop the fender from being blown up onto the dock in strong winds.
Fender dimensions (L x H x T) = 2000 x 400 x 100mm with a 100mm attachment tab.
Availability
Because our Barrier Speciality Marina Fenders have specific purposes, we only hold minimal stock and will usually make to order. Please allow 2 weeks for manufacture.

The non-marking white PVC cover material is tough and durable with a 5 year UV warranty from the manufacturer. It is designed to withstand New Zealand’s harsh sun and environment.
- The internal foam is a high quality closed cell Polyethylene foam (PE) that will not absorb water, rather than the lower grade Cross-linked Polyethylene (XPE) used in other marina fenders.
- Stainless steel fasteners supplied.
- PVC covered fenders are not recommended for boats with vinyl wraps. Please talk to us about other more suitable options.
